Product DescriptionThe square grill pan with panini press from Le Creuset works much like an outdoor grill (only faster), searing your foods on both sides at once, leaving them with rippled, blackened grill marks. With both of these pieces, you can grill quickly - prepare chicken breasts, burgers, swordfish or the classic panini. When cooking a panini, the bread becomes crisp and crunchy while the insides remain soft and succulent. The grill pan with panini press includes a 10.25-in. square grill pan, complete with long handle, a helper handle and spouts for pouring off excess oils, and a 9-in. panini press with a round knob on top for holding. Heat the press separately then place on top of your food and both sides will cook at once. Both have ribbed surfaces and are made of enameled cast iron, a material that retains heat longer and spreads it evenly for superior cooking performance.

Superb Quality
I bought this grill for a Christmas present for my girlfriend. I think I've used it more than her. It is an absolutely amazing grill and has a great weight and the quality is what you expect from Le Creuset. I have an electric range and have not had any problems using the grill or the press.

I received this for set for Christmas and have already used it a few times. I cooked yellow fin tuna the first use and it came out spectacular. Love the grill marks, and even cooking. This is definitely a piece of cookware that loves low/slow heat, I had it on my main burner on a low heat and got the oil to just about smoking and then threw on my tuna. Cooked it 5 mins a side and it came out with a terrific natural taste! The main event was the panini, I cut my ciabatta bread up, sprayed it with olive oil and layerd on the prosciutto and provolone. Could not be happier
This is a great product. The grill pan itself is very heavy, and retains heat very well. The press is similarly robust but has not proved to be as useful on electric ranges -- the range can't get the press hot enough to really do much more than weight the food down. Originally we purchased this item to facilitate preparation of panini, but we've since grown accustomed to using it for all indoor grilling applications.
A Dream Skillet
The Creuset Skillet Grill with a press exceeded my expectations. Frankly, I wasn't planning to use it as a hot sandwich maker, but as a grill for steaks and chicken, and it worked out wonderfully. It's somewhat pricey, but so are all the Le Creuset products. Hopefully, it will serve for a long time.
