THis is a great pot, although it wasn't what I needed. I already have two and thought it was a smaller pot. I'm looking for a 3 or 4 quart pot. I love this cookware, though. Its just about the only kind I use.

Best Dutch over I've ever owned! Perfect for chili, spaghetti sauce, pot roast, and soups of any kind! If you put it in the dishwasher (I do), be sure to season the pan each time you use it for the first year, after that, it's "dishwasher safe."

the pot started to peel during the first use. the item is not safe to use and i want to return it.
Does not compare with Wagner Magnalite
The lid does not fit tightly on the pot. The Wagner Magnalite Dutch oven tops are so tight they create almost a vacuum, lessening cooking time. Magnalite Classic 5-Quart Dutch Oven with Rack is far less than expected. I'm very disappointed in the product.
