HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY
This lovely set of Corelle bowls, are heavier than any bowl I have ever seen. I had to return mine. Even the small bowl was uncomforatably heavy. I cant imagine putting food in them and then trying to pick them up. The material used to manufacture these is nothing like the normal material for the square backing dishes. I was totally disappointed. I bought mine new from Amazon and I must say though shipping was really fast, packed very well, and the set is very lovely.

I love this bowl set! Beautiful and functional. I love the heavy "crockwork" feel of the bowls. Great for both mixing in the kitchen and serving in the dining room.

Yes, I read the weight on the product before ordering but thought 10 pounds must surely be a typo. They do weight 10 pounds, which is a bit heavy for arthritic hands, especially the large one. However, when cooking with children they would be perfect, because the weight helps to keep the bowl in place while mixing. I do LIKE them, they are just more than I bargained for.
