Good product at a good price!
Overall, Cuisinart SPB-6 SmartPower Classic 48-Ounce 6-Speed Blender, White looks nice and works well. The heavy-duty motor does a quick job of chopping ice...and practically anything else! The glass pitcher is heavy, which is good (it's solid and well-balanced) and bad (when filled, it's more likely to be dropped). One minor complaint: as other reviewers have mentioned, the motor smells like burnt insulation after initial use...hopefully, that will wear off as the blender gets used more.
A great basic blender
Cuisinart SPB-6 SmartPower Classic 48-Ounce 6-Speed Blender, White does all I need without the extra buttons that break quickly and are rarely used. The jar is a nice, heavy duty glass. The blender comes apart easily for cleaning. Felt it is a good buy overall.
Works great for our family!
We purchased Cuisinart SPB-6 SmartPower Classic 48-Ounce 6-Speed Blender, White a couple of months ago. My son is constantly making milk shakes and my husband and I make margaritas in it. It has worked perfectly every time. Since we leave it on the counter the look was important, this one looks very nice.
Love it or Loathe it
I bought Cuisinart SPB-6 SmartPower Classic 48-Ounce 6-Speed Blender, White at Macys on sale about $50. Did have trouble on 2nd use-always keep receipts and warrantys. Warranty replaced unit (now I have 2 glass containers - many mixed drinks) and no problems yet - still have about 2 1/2 yrs left on warranty. I do like the ice crusher componet as my refrig is old fashion and has no built ins. Sounds like a Love it or loathe it mixer having read the various reviews but I think this can be said of many counter-top blenders..

This is a great (very powerful) product for blending margaritas! Doesn't bog down,very easy to use and clean. You can tell that this is a quality product. Can't be beat for the price
