works great. Nice and heavy cast iron. perfect for the glass cooktops. My handle came a little deformed so I can't fold it all the way out.

Great Compact Cast Iron Grill Pan
Overall I'm quite happy with this, and have been using it regularly for several weeks now.
I had been looking for a decent grill pan for a while. I wanted cast iron instead of teflon since there are times that I really want to crank up the heat. On an episode of "Good Eats", Alton Brown used a nice compact grill with a folding/removeable handle that I thought looked like just the ticket, but at $64 (Staub Cast-Iron 9-Inch Square Grill) that seemed just a tad too "special" for me, especially if I wasn't quite sure if this would really be what I needed.
