great poach eggs
First this pan is made out of metal; so it well get hot, the handle does get hot, but I am able to move off the burning without any hot pads. The four poacher is great with the little handle; all I do is use a fork and pick up the poacher. Yes, I do have use little pan spray, I have never found a pan that you did not have use some type of spray or oil. I use it every morning and have enjoyed very much; it is a lot better then old ones; I like the glass top to see the how the eggs are cooking. If you want a good egg poacher get this one; it is great.
Great poacher!
Have used it twice since arrival 3 weeks ago. Beautiful design, works well (eggs come out easily), and easily cleaned in dishwasher. Superior to previous products I've owned.
Egg Poacher
When I first received the product, I regretted not buying the one from Target. I have since reconsidered. While it does seem flimsy (tinny), it does the job. My only minor criticism is that occasionally the eggs stick in the cup despite giving the non-stick lining a coating of butter. Perhaps it is my problem but...
If you like poached eggs, this is for you
Well, you'd think that an egg poacher would be a straight-forward subject. Like the technology would have been perfected sometime in the 1800's. Not so with some purveyors of egg poachers: we are junking the the one we bought last week (it will end up in our church jumble sale early next year) and replacing it with this one. And what a gem it is! Eggs in less than 2 minutes done to perfection! One caution however: don't put the lid vent hole over an egg. The egg it was over had a load of water while the egg 180 degrees from it had none. At this point, this is just hypothesis and I will keep experimenting. But: THESE EGGS WERE GREAT!! Oh, yeah. I spayed Pam in the non-stick cups and the eggs slid right out. Was Pam needed? I don't know. Enjoy.
Terrible
Worst purchase I ever made thru Amazon. The non stick cups stick, the metal lid handle gets so hot you need a hot pad to take it off. No easy way to remove the cups without burning yourself. Non insulated pan handle requires hot pad to grip.
