good timer for forgetful people
This timer has done a good job for me, reminding me time is up at times, and counting time for me at other times. Easy to wear around your neck, comfortable and light weight. Biggest drawback if any is the alarm is not very loud, it is as loud as most timers, but if it were louder I would like it better.
Lightweight, works well - but a little awkward to set
This is a pretty good timer - a lot lighter than the dial type when worn around the neck, with the digital readout intended for this - right side up when looking down at it. I use the timer when I'm cooking, so I don't have to stay in the kitchen, and am quite happy with it. My only complaint is that the controls could be simpler. I used a dial-type timer for years and find it's taking some time for me to remember what to do to set and to clear this timer without having to think about it. I'll get there - but be warned that it does require reading the instructions at first - so don't throw them out!
Great for walking

As a walker who tries to get at least 60 minutes a day in this turned out to be a great item. I get to track how long I have walked and it counts down to the beginning to see if I can make it back home in time.
It turned out to be a great motivator for my exercise program.
