What Others Say

Perfect for many activities!
We first purchased this baby tent to travel long distance with our baby. We used it in hotel's, at a cabin rental, and more recently our friends used it on Thanksgiving while we enjoyed our meal in the backyard. The tent offered the adults a little freedom to enjoy dinner while the baby rolled around and played. The baby tent also works well inside a family tent while camping. The Peapod is much smaller than a regular sized pack-and-play but still offers plenty of room for a baby to move around. The setup is extremely easy and I never once used the air pump - always inflated the mattress by mouth.

Crazy little tent
Bought two to use as travel beds for our 6 mo. old twins. The verdict is still out b/c we haven't traveled anywhere yet. I did have it out to let it breathe and get rid of the plastic-y smell. One of the babies already pulled off the grommet thing that you use to fold up the side vents. He was holding it and ready to put it in his mouth when we found it. So...the outside is not child friendly. It should be used with the infant inside it only, don't let them play around with it. Otherwise, not sure how well they'll sleep in it. They haven't minded being awake and zipped inside so I imagine if they were tired it would be fine. Time will tell!

Not for active sleepers
I bought this tent for my 8-month old when flying to stay at a very small apartment. It was so convenient to throw it in my suitcase instead of hauling a pack n play through the airport. However, I ended up buying a PnP at 8 a.m. the next morning after a night of very little sleep! My baby moves around a lot while he sleeps and the tent just doesn't have room for that, so he woke up constantly. And there is a gap between the mattress and the tent sides, so one time, he rolled right off the mattress! Also, the zipper is loud when trying to close it up with a sleeping baby inside. If I had to do it again, I would save the $, and buy a PnP at my destination and return it when I left...I'm currently waiting to hear what Baby Age's return policy ... Read More

Sent back
This was a cool looking product, but sent it back because it was much too small for our 2 year old. It looks like it would have been really fun - but not sure if the tent part would have been too intriguing to be relaxing enough to fall asleep...

Great product!
We ordered this little tent to take our 8 week old to the beach. It was such a great purchase. It is very easy to open, just be sure to open it away from others as it pops open quickly. It is also very easy to fold, the first time just takes a few minutes to figure out, but there is really no wrong way to fold it back up. The mattress is great and slips in between the bottom of the tent and the "floor" of the tent. The sleeping bag is useless and of bad material, but I doubt that is why anyone is purchasing this tent. I know one reviewer thought that the material was dangerous for laying a baby on, but I doubt anyone is just laying their baby on the bottom of the tent without putting something down first. We just laid our baby on a towel ... Read More
