Slow cooker
This is a great product. I use it all the time, purchased another one for our second home. The first one is over 10years old and still works great.
Keep your money
West Bend 84866 6-Quart Versatility Slow Cooker with Glass Cover, Stainless was a huge disappointment. I bought this after my other one died. It was given to me by my father-in-law and was about 20 years old. I splurged and got the most expensive one in the store thinking it would be the best. I have tried several items in it and they have all been way undercooked, even on high temps. I have to continue to cook in the oven or stove to finish it off. The whole point of me getting a slowcooker was to come home to dinner already prepared, not more cooking. I would NOT recommend West Bend 84866 6-Quart Versatility Slow Cooker with Glass Cover, Stainless to anyone.
Best EVER
This is the 3rd one we have had-Same brand-LOVE IT!!!!
Only change I would even suggest is to make them in Stainless Steel-
No peeling in cookery bottom then.
Great Slow Cooker
I had a Rival 6 qt. programmable crockpot, but it was WAY too hot. It dried everything out even if I used low and switched to warm -- it kept boiling away. I have used this 3-4 times and it seems to cook nice and slow and doesn't dry things out. So far I am VERY pleased.
LOVE IT !
I FOUND THIS SLOW COOKER PERFECT FOR WHAT I NEEDED. IT'S A BIG SIZE FOR STEW AND SOUPS. IT'S VERY NICE LOOKING AND CLEANS UP EASILY. ABOUT THE ONLY THING I COULD THINK OF TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IS THE CORD IS TOO SHORT. I ALSO DON'T USE THE LOW SETTING, I USE THE NEXT ONE UP, AND EVERYTHING COMES OUT GREAT. GREAT PRICE TOO!
