We've had this skillet for many months. It has endured heavy use without much TLC and remains in very good condition. It is the best all purpose skillet that we have owned.
Swiss Diamond Fry Pan
The order came quickly and I just love this pan. I have been looking for years for a pan that is non stick that my teenagers or visitors could not wreak with knives. This is that pan! I will order more in the future of Swiss Diamond Cast-Aluminum Nonstick 12-1/2-Inch Fry Pan.

I bought this frying pan because I wanted an alternative to teflon.
And I love it. Its almost impossible to scratch.
Take into account, this is the 12 1/2" pan.
Its HUGE. And very, very heavy.
Very high quality, well crafted, and comes with a great lid.
Well worth the money.
This is one of those things we'll have for the rest of our lives.
If you have an electric burner type stove, get a smaller size.
This one dominates our "apartment sized" stove top.
The non-stick material is PTFE

So even though they advertise their products as not having Teflon, it is made with the exact same materials as those called Teflon, they just don't use the Teflon name. So those who want to avoid the offgasing of non stick products may want to think twice about this one as well.
Swiss Diamond Fry Pans are Fantastic
This is the third purchase of Swiss Diamond for my husband, "the chef". He absolutely loves the ease of cooking with his 8", 10" and now 12-1/2" covered fry pans. The even temperature created by the Swiss Diamond company is unequaled in his opinion. We are very satisfied; especially me, because he turns out great meals with Swiss Diamond Cast-Aluminum Nonstick 12-1/2-Inch Fry Pan.
