AWESOME
This is the third, and by far, best crock I've owned. Cooks evenly, not too hot (true SLOW cooker), is totally programmable by the hour, and has a tight-fitting lid that doesn't rattle while cooking> There's no funky plastic smell when it's doing its thing due to being entirely encased in metal (unlike the Rival 6 qt I tried). It does get hot to the touch and you can't use the ceramic insert in the oven, but all the other pros out weight these two cons.
