Great product with excellent speakerphone capability
This is the third of this item I have purchased
The speakerphone feature is used constantly and the quality of sound is excellent. Coupled with caller I/D and memory bank it is a really good reliable product. One of the phones, namely the base phone has a minor flaw, after it has been out of the cradle for over one hour it loses all power. Once it is back in the cradle for one second it is restored
I called CS on this and rather than package up and mail back at my cost, I decided to live with this problem

4th Phone for Series Expandable Phone Systems
The original expandable phone system consisted of three cordless phones, the base staton with answering machine, and two remote wireless units.
An additional unit was required and I ordered the
GE Cordless 5.8 GHz Digital 28001EE1 from Amazon. It arrived five days later, installed without a problem, and works flawlessly.
That says it all.

GE 28001EE1 satelite handset
This was easy to set up, and the digital phone eliminates the annoying static we used to get with our old cordless phones. Satellite phones require only one base unit that is hard wired, and makes placement of extra phones very convenient. I also like the feature that allows naming of each handset so you know where it came from when someone lays it down other than in the charger.
