What Others Say

Good, but not as good as the old version
I have owned an Epilady for about 20 years. It is the old circular version and is wonderful, but it was time to replace it. I decided to go back to Epilady. It is great, but there is a learning curve. I can't go as fast and it seems to break some of the hairs, but since I've only used it a few times since my purchase I'm sure it will get better. It took me years to perfect the old one too. I LOVE the fact I can do my underarms too. Overall, I think the new lives up to the old and would gladly recommend it.

Not worth the money
My wife ordered Epilady Legend Rechargeable Epilator and says it was not worth the money. She has used several epilady products over 20 years now and the newer models are worse than the original coil model (which she thinks was the best design). It takes forever to to do her legs and they this recent model doesn't remove the fine hairs.

Good if noise really bothers you.
I bought this only because it was the only epilator that reviewers mentioned as being quite a bit quieter. It is less noisy than my previous braun silk epil. I wouldn't say it's quiet, but it's less likely to make my ears ring. On the lower setting I could watch tv with it on. Noise is subjective so YMMV. I have tinnitus so every decibel matters to me.
It doesn't seem to work as well as the braun with regards to hair removal though.
If anyone knows of a truly quiet epilator please let me know in the comments area!

Just so-so
I have had several epilators over the years, and this is one of the more disappointing ones I've owned. It's a lot wider than my old one, making it hard to control as well as hold, meaning that I've already dropped it twice, which causes the head to pop off and fly away...always under something. It's also a lot louder than my old one (a Remmington that is no longer in production) and there's never any secret as to what I'm doing when I turn it on, even if I'm in the back of the house with my door shut. Thirdly, I think it breaks off more hairs than it actually pulls out. I'm certainly no newby to epilation, as I started with the old twisted wire type, and have upgraded several times since, but this was a step backwards, not forward. Perhaps ... Read More

Good Product
After the initial shock of hairs being ripped out, the subsequent uses are painless and easy. I used it all over my body and it amazes me. No more paying for waxings. Note: be careful of skin that is thin, stretch it out!
