I am a bilateral amputee. I use Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel, 1.5-Ounce Containers (Pack of 3) daily underneath my liners. It has prevented any major skin irritations and allowed me to be very mobile. Without it, I doubt I would be able to wear my legs for the twelve to fourteen hours a day that I do now. YEAH!
Wonderful Makeup Primer
I am so glad I took the chance and purchased this. I had read that this was a great substitute for a makeup primer. I have very oily skin and this makes my makeup last all day. I used to have to reapply makeup a second time throughout the day. Now I hardly even use my powder!
This works the same as the Lancome primer for less than half the price.
best stuff I've found
This stuff is great at preventing chafing. I used to get very uncomfortable chafing under the band of my bra, particularly on hot days. Using the powder-gel has pretty much gotten rid of this problem. And I like the way it feels on my skin - not sticky like gel, and somehow not like powder either. It's hard to describe: it's like a breathable invisible layer of smoothness over my skin.
The stuff is expensive, but it's better than anything else I've used, and I'm willing to spend the money on it.
Face Primer Miracle!!
I heard about using this as a face primer before applying mineral, or other, makeup. I got it, and was amazed the first time I used it. My face looked years younger, fresher, and healthy. And that's saying a lot, as I am pushing 40, w/ red rosacea like oily and sensitive skin! I have used it, very little goes a long ways, for over 3 weeks now. I have not had a single reaction or breakout w/ it, as some have experienced. It's cheap enough, so I say, try it! If it doesn't work as a face primer, it can surely be used as what it was intended for, on males and females. So no loss at all.
