Performance of the Model 3025CF is enhanced by an on-board Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which performs complex modulating/demodulating functions. The DSP provides a more stable system and better performance than ''soft'' Windows-only modems. The Model 3025 is fully compatible with all features of the latest V.92/V.44 international standards and will also communicate at V.90 and slower speeds.

GREAT MODEM...
This modem is just GREAT! I still use dial-up and this more than fits the bill (much faster than my old modem). It was very easy to install on my new home built computer that uses Vista Home Premium.
