Pan Creates Perfect Cake for Child's Party Or Carousel Fan

Not what I was hoping for
I'm not a chef or anything, which is why, when I thought of making a carousel cake for my daughter's fifth birthday, I ordered this without really thinking it through.
You can't frost this cake, or you lose the carousel shapes. You might be able to glaze it if you were very careful. So basically with this mold you can make a carousel molded coffee cake, which is too immature for some grownups and not frosting-y enough for kids. It's also hard to see the carousel details on the finished cakes.
On a more positive note, the mold is sturdy and the cake doesn't stick to it at all.
