LOUD, slow, but works
Pros:
Small. Easily stored in your trunk.
Light. Lug around with one hand easily.
Cheap.
Long cigarette lighter cord.
Auto shutoff feature.
Cons:
LOUD! No idea what B&D was smoking when they claimed this unit us "quiet"
Slow. A few seconds at a gas station, several minutes with this unit. Per tire!
Laughably short AC cord.
Pressure dial is hard to read.
Very convenient!
I bought this for my wife who travels a lot in her car - but we use it for all kinds of things - footballs, bicycle tires, and car tires. I love not having to go to the gas station when my tires are down a few pounds.
It is a little noisy, and the cords are bit difficult to get back together when you are done using it - but otherwise - good product.
Not as good as Air Stations in past
I got Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator because I liked the Air Station I had in the past. The compressor seems fine for normal tasks. The auto off feature is nice, but not a need to have. The power cord is literally a foot or two long. You have to have an extension cord to use it! The DC power cord is 12 feet long. I just don't get that... I'd not buy Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator again.
Great deal
I bought this since I never seem to get more than 1 tire filled at the gas stations when paying for it.
The cords are short as other state, that is the only drawback.
I was able to get it to fill to exactly what I need which was 30,36 and 29 psi for the cars and 60 for the spare. The spare was almost empty at 5 psi and it only took it 2 minutes to fill it up. The rest of the tires took seconds to top off. Not as loud as other make to sound, the electric lawn mower or a garage door is loader than this machine.
