I love this toaster!
I have looked and shopped everywhere trying to find the perfect stainless toaster to match all my other appliances. This toaster looks and works great. The extra wide slots are perfect for bagels. I would highly recommend Kalorik 1450-Watt 4-Slice Toaster, Stainless Steel.
I hate to disagree ...
... but this is the best toaster I have ever owned! I've found the toasting capabilities superior to just about every other one I've had, even on a par with the older style GE-type toasters that were as solid as a rock. The slots are wide enough to accept bagels, but clamp in when single bread slices are inserted. Once you get the toaster settings correct - after some experimentation - you know exactly what you'll get and when you'll get it. We do toast, bagels, toaster strudel, etc. and with the correct choice (it also offers a "Defrost" option!), everything is done to perfection.
$40 for this toaster? The best deal I have ever had! Buy it - you won't be sorry.
A POOR TOASTER
We had read a number of reviews and decided on this toaster. It looks very nice and appears well built. However, when we began to use the toaster, the bread was only toasted on one side, although the heating elements on each side were on. We tried everything we could, but he results were always the same. Thus we returned the unit and began the seach for a more adequate one.
