I bought a Nordic Ware Texas Skillet on markdown at the local big box store. It did not come with a lid. While the pan is described as 12". the inside diameter of the pan is about 11 and 7/8, and the outside diameter to the edge of the curled rim is about 12 1/2. I wondered if this lid would fit.
Ift fits like a dream.
The lid has a flat rim about 1/2 inch wide giving the lid an outside diameter of about 12 7/8".
You can see from the picture the dome of the lid is set below the flat rim. On the underside the protruding circle of the dome is about 11 3/8"

Adequate
This lid was a replacement for a heavy glass lid I hated. I like its light weight. I would rather have a smooth, shiny surface because the stainless surface is harder to clean and shows finger marks. It was too big for a 12-inch Wearever saute pan, but a universal lid I bought at Target was too small. I used weatherstripping on its edge to make a seal and so far, it works. For the money, I'm satisfied -- sure beats buying a new pan!
