This little light has flew off my bike twice due to hitting BIG pot holes(enough to give me a flat twice) both times I was going very fast. Needless to say the super flash hit the ground and broke into pieces. Both times I decided to try to retrieve the pieces and mange to find them all and put it back together. Simply the BEST bicycle light.
It is rare to find a product today that FAR exceeds all the rest. This Planet Bike Blinky is head and shoulders above the many other good lights. It is Bright, Bright, BRIGHT!!! - compact, and well constructed.
All of the flashing lights are red and the lens cover is clear. This allows the light to be seen in daylight as well as at night.
I combine this Planet SuperFlash with the CatEye TL-LD150 White (the brightest white flasher) for maximum visibility.
If you or your children are biking on the roads - this is a must. Also good for children's backpacks.
The best light
I ordered 2 of these lights and they work great. They are extremely bright and very small. They come with a seat post mount and the light it self has a slide on type mount. The two mounts work together, so you can slide the light on and off your bike at will and also you are able to attach the light to anything using the slide on mount. Things like your backpack, your pocket or anything with a thin edge.
This has to be the best rear bike light out there right now.
Be safe, be seen, stay alive
Whatever else may be said about visibility at night, this light is hard to ignore. At night the flash mode is bright enough to be seen by motorists from a far greater distance than other "blinky" lights. It's definitely an attention grabber. It may be a pricier than most, but it's cheap life insurance and way cheaper than a visit to the hospital.
Super Flash is Great
This light is awesome. With the bright LED blinking, it's hard not to be seen. Anything to help from being run over is something needed.
