I am very pleased with Siphon Mate. First I got it quickly and it was very safely packed. But most important it worked exactly as it should. I placed the tip of the siphon cylinder in the patio fountain that needed draining, anchored the open end of the plastic tube below the bottom of the fountain with a brick, and pulled the handle all the way to the top. The water started to drain immediately. There was a bit of air in the flow, easily seen through the clear tube, so I pumped down then back up all the way and the water filled the tube completely. Works well for small volumes
I wouldn't use it for pumping out a whole boat but it works well for small amounts. It's also a good transfer pump.
worth the money
I have had to use this pump a couple of times when the gas cans were empty and I didn't want to drive 10 miles to get gasoline just to finish the lawn. It is simple to use and works great
