This will do!
I looked far and wide to replace my VERY sturdy stainless steel Farberware teakettle which I melted (my fault, not the kettle's!). I wanted simple lines, easy filling and cleaning, a nice whistle, and large capacity at a good price. This kettle meets all those requirements, plus it heats up quickly (as long as you keep the whistle closed).
I deducted one star because I'm a little disapointed with the handle. It is made of shiney "bakelite", which looks too cheapy-plastic to me. It also regularly falls over on it's skimpy hinges, which is annoying.
Other than the handle, it does the job at a reasonable price.

Large capacity. Spout well located. Easy to fill and pour. Bottom's a little thin.
