Now available for 64-bit
Just to clarify (as the distributor has not updated the system requirements on this page) but a 64-bit version is now available.
This is not included on the CD when you purchase the product, but a free update to Nitro Pro 5.5 can be obtained from http://www.nitropdf.com/downloads/ and you can use the serial number that ships with the 32bit version sold here.

Nitro PDF Software
Who needs Acrobat?
This nitro PDF professinbal does what I need for a .PDF converter software. I don't need the overpriced Adobe Acrobat. Adobe people look down on you if you have a version of any of their software that is 1 or 2 versions old. Reminds me of Adobe's CS2 version. They will not deal with peasants that paid hundreds of dollars for thier earlier version but it's not the new CS4 version. You're no longer customer to service. They want you to upgrade to an over priced upgrade that is not the full version. You have to upgrade from your present one. IT's not stand alone. I don't like the Adobe people. Stick with Nitro PDF Professional instead.
positive
Nitro PDF Professional works fine. i was looking for a PDF editor and it was inexpensive and works great.
Happy to recommend
I have not used PDF software before and this was very simple to use. Now I can create PDFs, change text and use sticky notes and stamps.
The software is pretty cheap for what it does.
No 64-bit Vista/XP support--FYI!
Just FYI--I bought this, waited on it, and tried to install on my 64-bit Vista system (it said 'Vista' compatible on the description), but informed me that it had no support for 64-bit XP or Vista. So, i had to return it and begin looking for ANOTHER PDF-solution for Vista64.
I may be perfect for 32-bit usage, but i couldnt test it. I just wanted to let others know about this limitation, so they wont waste time.
