This toaster is great!
I just got this toaster and it is really nice. It toasts fairly quickly, but most importantly, it toasts evenly. The slots are long enough to fit larger-type bread and wide enough for bagels. Much better toaster than the Dualit that costs half again as much money.
Krups Toaster
Amazon performed the trransaction with dispatch and the toaster arrived promptly after placing the order.
I had a Krups toaster that performe flawlessly for many years but, unfortunately, it finally failed. I then began searching for a replacement and knew I wanted an other Krups. Shopping about I found Amazon to be the best source and purchased the toaster. Using the toaster over the Thanksgiving Holiday with house filled with children and grand kids proved the toaster perfomance. I am very pleased with the toaster and would recommend it with out reservation.
good little toaster
This toaster toasts bread, English muffins, bagels nicely with a large selection of toasting levels. The slots could be longer in order to toast longer slices.
Not an 1100-watt toaster!
I bought this toaster specifically because I wanted an 1100-watt toaster, as advertised on this page. But when I received the toaster, I discovered that the specifications on the bottom of the toaster indicated that it was a 900-watt toaster. This information is available (I discovered later) on the Krups website as well.
It did seem to do a reasonable job of toasting, but no better than other toasters I have purchased for less money. I was willing to spend the extra money only because I thought I'd get a higher wattage, and thus more efficient, toaster. Back it went.
