This is a great Rice Cooker. I have had many Rice Cookers in the past but this is by far the best one that I have ever owned. It cooks great rice and bakes nice cakes and the oatmeal in the morning is the best. I love the music that it plays. I would recommend this rice cooker to my friends and family. All in all I cannot find any fault with Zojirushi NS-TGC18 10-Cup Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer, Stainless Steel. I use the cooker everyday of the week.

I LOOOOVE RICE, and the Zojirushi is everything they say.
First of all, people that come to my house love the design, it looks like it was made in space, and the stainless steel touches, allow it to blend very well with every other SS item in my kitchen, rice tastes delicious, stays delicious for a long time, and I must point out, that you feel that the manufacture of this Zojirushi is FAAAAR better that any of the other $40 rice cookers on the marker, plus you can cook a whole bunch of things with it, like soup, and different kinds of rice, the process has been simplified by Zojirushi.
I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to everybody else. :D

If you eat alot of rice this is great. Cooks rice perfectly everytime. We usually cook enough for 2 days and it keeps great. I found out about this from my neighbor who was from Bejing but had lived the last 4 years in Tokyo.
