Nice hot water dispenser
I bought this for about $100 (on sale in a Chinese Grocery store). Initially I bought it because it was from Japan & the quality should be much more reliable than that from China. I like the price and the design that it has a timer. It works well for us as we can set the timer for water to heat up when we wake up in the morning and before we get home, so we can have hot water for tea, lemonade or for cooking. This is an excellent feature to have.
The only comment I have for Zojirushi is we need water temperature to reach 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius for brewing black tea. Also, a plain stainless steel surface will be nice too, as the design is too feminine for us.
Absolutely love this. Great for making baby formula
This is great. We use it daily. It's fantastic for making baby formula. We just put 2/3 hot water & 1/3 cold water & it makes perfectly warm formula every time. (We set our water temp to 140 the lowest setting) No more placing bottles in hot water to warm and wait. We also use it for tea & soups.
Indispensable tool for tea lovers
This is an indispensable tool for tea drinkers. After I melted my tea kettle by putting it to boil then going upstairs for hours, I started to search for a replacement. At first I looked at electric kettles, but the reviews for all of them mention one drawback or another that I would not want to deal with (persistent off odor and taste, and plastic or breakable parts being the biggest complaints people had).
When I found this little gem, I knew I had a winner. The features I love about it are:
