Pwer Puller review
It does fine. Just used it once to pull a tailgate back straight, attached to a telephone pole and it was about to pull the truck front wheels off the ground. It is what it says it is. A power puller.
It would have been nice to have had some instructions, though.
very nice come-along
very nice, the single hook is a little smaller then I would like, but it works very well. You have to reach in and move the spring over for the release trip, instead of a leaver, not bad just different.
What you pay for
For the price I can't really complain about this item but I should point out some "details".
First of all, there are no markings anywhere on this thing to tell you the rated capacity or anything else.
Second, if you've seen an old, Made in USA, cast iron and forged steel true 5 ton come-a-long in your granddad's barn or at your uncles shop you'll probably have some doubts once you pull this little thing out of the box: it's all laminated and stamped parts, very light weight.

With massive bullrope in the top of the target tree and the pully anchored with log-chain to the base of another tree, I began cranking the lever. I wanted to make certain the tree fell exactly where I wanted. I had to back off to keep from pulling some out of the trees out of the ground, root ball and all, before laying a chainsaw to them. This puller works - and it appears to be made well enough that I feel safe using it. That's very important. I inspected every detail before I put it to use. I could not find any markings indicating where ... Read More
