Very handy
I was looking for something to work as a lid to a milk bottle when I came across these silicone lids in various sizes. While all were too large to work as a bottle lid, they are great for covering all sorts of other containers and pans, from small ramekins to cereal bowls to mixing bowls and skillets. I bought 3 different brands in various sizes: 4", 8.5", and 10" Lekue, small (approx. 3.5") and large (approx. 6") Progressive International, and 12.5" Silicone Zone.
The handles (or convexity at the center of the Silicone Zone model) prevent containers from being stacked atop one another for the most efficient storage, and while they do stop grease from spattering out of a skillet, they also trap steam and moisture so I still prefer ... Read More
