What Others Say
Bulb burned out quickly
I have no problem with figuring things out but why the bulb stopped working after less than 2 weeks is irritating. If I had time I'd send it back. The goal was to sanitize my childs toothbrushes, he throws them everywhere. Goal not met with this device.
It start no working in less a month
Please do not buy it, it is simply not working after a while.
I may have to buy more expensive one, I guess that you get what you pay for!
Love this.
We've had this for almost a year and use it daily. I really think it works great. It's easy to clean, too. It's nice to know our toothbrushes are being sanitized after each use.
Quality consistant with low price
I went for this model because it's cordless, we don't have an outlet near the medicine cabinet where we keep the brushes so it made sense. I agree with the previous review, there is always a pile of moisture inside the removeable tray, how can there not be bacteria present? The batteries died very fast even though my husband and I are the only users. I thought this was strange so I went and got rechargeable batteries, have to recharge them once a week. Then, after only 2 months, the UV bulb blew out. Now I don't know where to find a replacement bulb. I quit! Should have paid a little more for a better model.
Cheaply Made and Awful
I had this for one day and found rust spots on my countertop the morning after I first used it. The unit wasn't sitting in a puddle but evidently the little bit of moisture that got underneath was enough.
Because it's a nice size and doesn't take up much room, I perservered and placed a coaster underneath it. That seemed to have done the trick for a little while until I pulled my daughter's toothbrush one morning and found rust on the bristles.
Maybe I just got a dud but I'm not willing to take another chance on it. It went straight in the trash and now I'm shopping for a new one.
