Remodel
We purchased this toaster oven to use during our complete kitchen remodel. The laundry room was the make do kitchen area for longer than I would like to remember. To make life seem as normal as possible during this process I used Cuisinart TOB-50BC Classic 6-Slice Toaster Oven Broiler, Brushed Stainless Steel almost daily from morning toast to even broiled chicken. The remodel is complete and the toaster oven has earned it's counter space and the stainless steel finish looks great next to my new appliances.
hot toaster oven
I thought this would be a great toaster oven. It is not. You have to turn the heat down on everything or the food will burn (even toast). It is also awkard to clean as the drip tray is on the back. I would not recommend this one for anybody.

I have had the oven for a few weeks now and I really like it. My main objective was to find a toaster oven that would make decent toast! This one does very well. It toast both sides and it does it evenly. I am pleased, so far, with the baking ability also. Now for the dislikes: I do not like the wire rack in the oven. If you turn it so that the rack is in the low position, it is hard to get the pan out because the edge of the rack is higher that the rack surface. The signal beeper for the toaster could be louder also. I also wish it had a timer on it, but you can't have everything! All in all I like the product very much.
Nice Toaster Oven
Great looking stainless steel finish on top that does get hot to the touch (more so than then other materials). This unit replaced the 3rd B&D that I've owned over the past 25 years. Having only Black & Decker toaster ovens in the past, I got used to the oven shutting off when the door is opened. This one stays on; you must turn it off manually. I'm not saying that's good or bad, just something you might have to get used to. This toaster does a great job of baking, broiling and toasting. No problems there. I do find that "6 slices" is really pushing it... I'd call it a 4 slice toaster with some room to spare. My only complaint is the way they configured the crumb tray. TOB-50BC Classic 6 - Slice Toaster Oven Broiler
This is a sturdy, well made little toaster oven. It heats evenly and works very well. I would give it the highest score if it had a timer. The lack of a timer is aninconvenience.
