somewhat disappointed
I chose the product because of price and sometimes the new names might offer something good but Asus A626 3.5-inch PDA Windows Mobile 6.0, Wi-fi (802.11 B+g), Bluetooth 2.0 (edr), dissapointed me. I bought it for use to syncronize my nursing drug book from my computer using window XP to the asus PDA but it will not work and the software that came with it will not load into my computer either. I called Asus for help and it was clear to me that the technical team are helpless and offers nothing but poor support. I wish to return it as soon as possible to amazon if there will not be a return fee or I will trash it. the only good thing about the PDA is the wifi but that is not why i need a PDA. so if you are buying for core PDA functions you will be disappointed. Great, little device.
Great screen, slim design, great battery. Have had for 3 months with zero problems. I got an Armor case for it, which is nice for protection. With a 4 GB SD card, I have no memory issues. This is a good buy.

I bought this to have wifi internet access at free hotspots, without any monthly subscriptions. It does all I wanted and way more. In fact, I can't seem to find anything this unit does NOT do. With the addition of freeware software, I can watch full DVD movies, listen to streaming internet radio, watch online videos, process email, surf the web, download stuff, view PDFs, read eBooks, write music, RECORD music, play video games, view pictures, take notes, make actual phone call using SKYPE, annoy coworkers with a synthesized "Theremin", and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember at the moment... other than the beefy horsepower in my desktop, this little thing does nearly everything my big box does - and fits in my shirt pocket!

Great unit but compatiblity issue kills its name.
The ASUS MyPal A626 is one of the best Pocket PCs I have ever seen.
But unfortunately, neither Amazon.com's description nor the manufacturer's note did not explain that it doesn't work with Vista computers very well.
Although there is no problem recognizing the device and interact by putting files around, when it comes to synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook 2007, it does nothing.
Windows Mobile Device Center tells me that it has been synchronized, but I find no difference on the unit.
If someone knows a solution to this, I would greatly appreciate if you could contact me via Amazon.com
