We've had Back to Basics TEM4500 4-Slot Egg-and-Muffin Toaster for approximately 1 month and as a family of four at least one of us is using this daily. We haven't noticed any bad smells coming from it.....just the wonderful, warm scent of a healthy, quick breakfast cooking. I'd like to order at least 2 more for gifts and the people I work with all want to chip in on one to use at the office....but they aren't available right now. My only complaint would be that they are too difficult to obtain in a timely manner.
Does what it says it does, and well.
This was one of the best breakfast ideas I have seen. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and affordable. I've been using mine almost daily for about two months and have had no problems with it.
