Another great set from Le Creuset
I absolutely love this set. You get the quality of Le Creuset and for thirty bucks it's a great deal. I use these for everything; ziti, chicken, potatoes etc. With Le Creuset, the clean up is so easy; you do not have to constantly scrub the pan to get all the brown bits out like with a glass dish.
This set is good for personal use but makes a nice housewarming gift also.
Much smaller than expected
I expected a "9 inch" square baker to be larger than the 8 inch square baker I already have; but this dish isn't. It's immediately apparent when you see it, but I measured it to be sure. Measuring the inside dimensions, the bottom is 7 and 1/2 inches across. It's shallow, about 1 and 3/4 inches deep, and at the very top of the lip, it measures 8 and 1/2 inches across. While it does just barely measure 9 inches at its outer limits, I think it's misleading for Amazon and/or Le Creuset to describe this as a 9 inch square baker, which is generally understood to be an oversize dish.
