Excellent Tool
I've owned the Fein Multimaster for about a month now, and use it in conjunction with the Turbo II vacuum. This is a convenient and aggressive tool. I held off purchasing it for several years because of the price but now I see that I could have used it for many purposes during my home remodel and could have used it more effectively than the sawzall for most, if not all, of the tasks for which I needed it. The sanding capacity alone will save you significant time and sweat. When I think back to all the sanding I did to the window frames while standing on a ladder I feel somewhat foolish. best tool for remodeling
This is the best tool I've found for remodeling anything around the house, it makes doing things like making holes in the wall a snap and for refinishing wood without taking it all apart.. would recommend highly to anyone with a lot of projects or professional carpenter who does remodeling.
Works pretty well but very expensive
Seems well-built. I've used the grout saw, the e-blade, the scraper and the segment blade. The e-blade and scraper were a little disappointing. The grout saw and segment blade worked great. I understand the sander works very well, too, but haven't tried that yet... The replacement blades seem a little over priced which is disappointing. I hope the tool pays for itself. Time will tell.
Expensive but...
My review will be just like most reviews of the Fein Multimaster. It's very expensive, the attachments are really expensive, but this tool does the job that other tools don't do. The first week I used it a half a dozen times. It really works, I'm glad I got, I wish the accessories were cheaper.
Amazing
Does just what they say. I had to straighten a wall where it ended at a closet opening. I was able to cut the nails in about 20 sec, with no damage to the sheetrock where it mattered, as the molding covered it. The wall could then easily be pushed into the correct position and renailed. I was dreading doing this work so tried to hire someone. They were going to charge me $150 dollars and use a sledge. I learned long ago not to skimp on tools as the good ones last a lifetime. This tool is heavy but works so quickly it really doesn't matter.
