great at antivirus, where is tech support?
Bitdefender is the best antivirus software on the market according to consumer reports and almost every site that reviews antivirus and security programs. The only HUGE problem with bitdefender is their
almost non-existent tech support - email them, try to phone them, create a report on their site - nothing moves these people or person to ever respond. If they would or could wake up their tech support,
this would be an almost perfect anti-viral solution. Here's hoping they flesh out their tech staff.
Excellent AV Software
This has to be one of the best Anti-virus software programs I have purchased. I previously used Norton Antivirus and its suite of applications (the standard deck that comes pre-installed when you buy a new PC) and I never realized how much it slowed my system down. After uninstalling it and installing Bitdefender, my PC starts up almost 1 minute faster and my CPU/ RAM usage is much lower as well. Bitdefender is really easy to install and set up, and even when it is performing a full system scan or deep scan, it is not a resource hog. For the price, you can't go wrong; especially since you can use it on 3 different PCs!
Make my laptop unable to boot up (windows XP packet 2 with windows defender installed)
After install antivirus bitdefender in my Toshiba laptop (Windows XP packet 2 with windows defender installed), my lap top is unable to boot up, keep freezing eventhough I try to reboot couple time.
So far....so good!
I've used Norton and for the last several years have had McAfee. The 2-years and 3 PC's protection appealed to me and so far I'm glad that I purchased Bitdefender Antivirus 2008. Easy set up, lets you set perameters. Haven't had it long enough (about 6 weeks) to make an adequate review, but at first blush it's a winner!!!
Bit Defender Works
So far, Bit Defender seems fine. Installed easily with no problems. Time will tell....
