Not so different from a cheap pot
I've switched to tri-ply for saucepans and dutch ovens and thought Gourmet Standard's reputation for quality close to that of All-Clad (waaaay out of my budget) made it a safe bet, but honestly it doesn't even work as well as my Tramontina or Calphalon Tri-Ply. It takes a while to heat up, and seems to have hot-spots around the edges even on a low flame, and at almost double the price of a Cuisinart or other sandwich-bottom dutch oven, doesn't make the price difference worthwhile. If Amazon took returns on cookware that had already been used, I would return it.
Gourmet Dutch Oven
I was very pleased with the quality of Gourmet Standard 5.5 Quart Tri-Ply Dutch Oven with Lid - AS11110. I've looked in many stores and even purchased one, only to find it too small. This was was larger than my old dutch oven and even cooks better.
