I heart Roomba
I would not say this is a must have for any Roomba owner, but it will make your life much easier. The side brush on my Roomba had snapped all but two brushes, so I was very happy to replace it. I have not needed to replace any other brushes, but it make life much easier for me. Now, when my Roomba stops running because the brushes need cleaning, I just trade them out and clean the brushes when the time is better for me. A convenience well worth the price of the replacement kit.

Just the price of the extra "lighthouse" alone on other sites was nearly the price of this whole package. If you have recently purchased a robo vacum this is absoulutely the next thing you want to buy for it. We love our roomba(also purchased from Amazon). With proper care and regular cleaning it will last many years!!! As for the poor reviews on what this package contains.Nothing is hidden the listing clearly shows what you are buying so if you don't need or want all the extra stuff why would you buy

Roomba Accessory Box... Awesome Deal!
This particular bundle of accessories for the Roomba 500 series is an amazing deal! I really needed another lighthouse and the brushes were wearing out. The cover to my Roomba was also cracked and scratched from getting jammed under a certain part of our couch. This bundle took care of everything, was neatly packed and shipped quickly!
Great value on Roomba supplies
I have owned two Roombas for about a year, and use them several times a week to clean up after my golden retriever. While they do a great job picking up the tons of hair she sheds, quite a bit of it gets wrapped around the bearings at the ends of the brushes. This extra strain on the little pins that hold the bearings onto the brush has caused them to loosen over time and eventually they won't stay in place any longer.
While some users won't have a need to ever replace their brushes, my circumstances are different and I will probably need to replace them annually. Oversupply?
We've owned at least one Roomba for about one year and we purchased a second one recently. We've never felt the need of replacing anything yet. But, let's analyze the contents, one by one, and see which of these accessories are needed and in what quantities.
- Sliver faceplate - not needed, unlikely to be ever needed. It's not clear if it fits all 500 models.
- 3 side brushes - after one year of use, our side brush does look a little dirty. I may want to replace it sometime but, over the expected lifetime of a Roomba (3 years?) I would say that one extra, maybe 2 extra would be sufficient.
- 6 filters - the filters can be cleaned easily. I believe that we got 2 of them to begin with but I don't see why I would want to replace ... Read More
